GEL batteries
Pros: cheaper, safer, temperature-tolerant. Cons: heavier, limited lifespan (5-7 years).
Lithium batteries

For daily use with deep discharges, lithium is preferable. For occasional use or a limited budget, GEL remains a good choice.
